All Business Starts At The Bottom And Grow From There

 

When considering a new business opportunity to start up on, or even while you consider options to improve on your current business - one term comes to my mind before all others: Focus On The Customers.

As I meet many times questions about marketing tips, suggestions for the most beneficial business model or business plans - there are, of course, many aspects to consider as relevant to the success of your creation. As they often say - "the bottom line is...". Did you continue to add "the money" or "the income" ?
While I tend to agree, I also remember that so many people focus on that same bottom line without so much apparent success that a question arises - is it realy THE Bottom Line ?

What do YOU think ?

For me, what the concept "bottom line" means is the basis of the the whole business structure. The level on which the whole building is standing. Learning some from architecture and engeneering - in order to erect a high, strong and long lasting building one should take great care with the right foundations.

How to decide what are the right foundations ? what is the real basis for a successful, long lasting, business ?

Let's take it one step at a time:
Ever heard of this: "Money Paid Is Solutions Answered" ?. What do you make of it ? If this true and effective, the main focus should therfore be on >>> providing solutions, isn't it ?!. The better the solutions, the more accurate they are, that provide real perceived pleasure and relief to the larger customer parade - the more money the business earns.

How does this relate to the bottom line and to making money ?
In order to meet demmand and sell solution you should know exactly what your customers are willing to pay for, and how much. In order to have that kind of business information you must also know who your customers are, and where they are. Moreover, the next basic issue to know would be where they are, and how best to reach them with your offer.

See what I mean ? so many of the main business issues all turning around the customers ?!

Just a short reminder that this is not to mislead you from other important topics to attend. Topics such as wat you realy like to do, what business model to use, where to set up your operation and more. But it all comes and goes to this basic inner core of who is going to provide the continuous stream of income ? and the answer is, of course... the customers.

For now, to start gaining benefits for your business, I suggest you take this info into practical mode:

>>> Make a list of the different aspects where customers are involved in your business.

>>> Write down what their needs, problems and wants are, to your thinking

>>> Relate again to the "contact points" that you mentioned before, and write where you need more inforamtion to act and progress towards sales.

>>> Write this again now, taking care to see if there are any differences in your attitude towards your customers when you think not in "sales" terms, bur in "long lasting realtionship" terms.
